About the Haxtun Community Federal Credit Union
The Haxtun Community Federal Credit Union is organized to serve people who live, work, or worship in parts of Northeastern Colorado and their immediate families. As a community based financial institution owned and operated by our members, our purpose is to provide financial advice and a competitively priced line of financial products and services, while at the same time building an adequate capital base. The Haxtun Community Federal Credit Union was organized in April of 1938 as the Haxtun CO-OP Credit Union. It was a federally chartered community credit union. The original membership consisted of 12 members. These members were farmers that wanted to help the rural community of Haxtun. There were 7 original board members, 3 credit committee members, and 3 supervisory committee members.
